Eco Friendly Designed Water Bottles

Reusable water bottle

We designed with the environment in mind

We believe that great design and a creative approach will drive positive change. 321 Water has been designed not only to look good but have the environment in mind as well.

The environmental impact of 321 Water has been carefully considered at every stage of its life cycle, from design, manufacturing, to the way it is used, as well as its disposal at the end of life. This means that all eco design principles –this is a design approach with special consideration for the environmental impacts of the product during its whole life cycle- have been followed.

Recycling, reusing and making the most of a product is such an easy way to be sustainable.

Most water bottles can be recycled in some capacity, it can become quite overwhelming and confusing as to what different recycling codes mean and how different plastics more specifically can be surprisingly sustainable!

We make sure throughout our production and distribution of the 321 Water bottles that all parts are fully sustainable. What recycling codes will you see on our filtered water bottle:

You may see a number 7 recycling code on the bottom of your water bottle. But it is a common misconception that the number 7 recycling code denotes poor environmental practice and reusability.

The 321 Water bottle range are made from a relatively new plastic to the market known as Eastman Tritan. This polymer is thoroughly tested and certified with food grade quality and long lasting reusable results. Most importantly to us however, is the added environmental benefits in production and long lasting nature of Tritan plastics. Being relatively new to the plastic industry, the Tritan bottles are labelled with this “other” certification and code - 7, but what does this really mean in the world of recycling?

(No. 7) Everything Else: The number, usually located in the center of the triangular recycle symbol, is called the “resin identification code” and is intended to facilitate sorting of materials for recycling. Currently, resin identification code “7” is for “other” resins that are not defined by codes 1 through 6. Thus, a number of unrelated plastics can carry a code 7, including Eastman Tritan™ co-polyester, polycarbonate, nylon and even the newer bio-plastics.

By simply using a durable and reusable water bottle such as the 321 Water Filter bottle, your capability to reuse and recycle whilst still having a high quality product and cost effectiveness is truly possible. Every part of your water bottle can be replaced and recycled.

The 321 Water Bottle uses a carbon filtration system that absorbs impurities from tap water, such as odors, tastes, organic compounds, and residual chlorine.

And the the 321 Protein Shaker is great for adding things to your water, such as fruit, protein, or supplements with the included blender ball.
