However, studies show that breakfast is extremely important for:
- improving and maintaining energy levels
- improving your metabolism
- helping with memory and concentration
These are just a few of the benefits of having breakfast, the list of advantages goes on.
Smoothies are a healthy habit to get into as they are a way to feed your body the nutrients it needs and it a quick and fast breakfast option. If you are low on time in the morning you can even make them at night and in the morning simply give them a little a shake and you are ready to go.
Here are the three new smoothies we are currently loving.
1/2 a large mango cut up into pieces
3 tablespoons coconut yogurt
1/2 cup orange juice
The basic breakfast smoothie
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup frozen berries of your choice
1 cup of milk
2 teaspoons of honey
2 teaspoons of yoghurt
Green with a twist
1/2 a large mango
1tbsp chia seeds
250ml coconut water
1 Passionfruit (pulp)
If you are wanting to add extra nutrients we suggest adding a protein powder.
So simply, blend the ingredients and pour the healthy drinks into your detox bottle to either keep in the fridge until you want it or take it on the go.
